Terms of Use

By installing and using Dare Night (the "app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Dare Night, consistent with our Google Play content rating. The app includes prompts intended for adults — including suggestive content in the Premium "Spicy" pack — and is not designed for use by minors.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Dare Night on devices you own or control, for non-commercial entertainment purposes. This license does not give you the right to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code
• Use the app to harass, harm, or violate the rights of others
• Use the app's content for any commercial purpose without our written permission
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the app or its content

3. Your conduct

You agree to use Dare Night responsibly. Specifically, you understand and agree that:

• You decide which prompts to act on. The app suggests prompts; you choose whether to perform them. You can always skip a prompt with no penalty. Some dares involve sending real messages, taking real photos, or making real social posts — these have real-world consequences that you, not us, are responsible for.
• You will not act on prompts in ways that are illegal, dangerous, or non-consensual. This includes not pressuring others to participate, not sharing content of people who haven't consented, and not engaging in illegal activity in service of any dare.
• You take responsibility for prompts you create or share. If you write custom prompts or import packs from friends, you are responsible for the content. We provide tools, not editorial review.

4. Premium purchases

Dare Night offers a one-time Premium upgrade through Google Play. The current price is $2.99 USD (subject to local conversion and Google Play's pricing rules).

Premium unlocks:

• All five built-in packs (Classic, Crush, Spicy, Confessions, Chaos)
• The ability to create your own packs
• The ability to share packs with friends
• The ability to add and edit prompts in packs you author

Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly — please contact Google Play for refund requests.

5. Custom and imported packs

When you author a pack, you retain ownership of the prompts you write. When you share a pack, you grant recipients the right to use those prompts within Dare Night for their personal enjoyment.

When you import a pack from a friend, those prompts are added to your local game library. You may remove them at any time. You cannot re-share imported packs — only packs you authored yourself can be exported. This is by design and is enforced by the app.

6. Content disclaimer

Dare Night's built-in prompts are written for entertainment purposes and reflect a particular humorous, irreverent tone. Some prompts are suggestive, some are confessional, some are chaotic — that's the point. None are intended as advice, instructions, or endorsements of any specific behavior.

If a prompt makes you or someone in your group uncomfortable, skip it. The app supports unlimited rerolls precisely so you can find prompts that suit your group's comfort level.

7. No warranty

Dare Night is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. We don't warrant that any specific prompt will produce any specific outcome — emotional, social, or otherwise.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app
• Damages relating to your interactions with other people while using the app
• Damages relating to content you create, share, or receive via the app
• Lost profits, lost data, or service interruptions

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms. If a change is material, we'll surface a notice in the app on next launch.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
